Through my grant and contract-funded work at the Boston Children’s Hospital Trauma and Community Resilience Center I consult to providers, mental health programs, schools, and companies on culturally-responsive, evidence-based practice for youth and families of refugee and immigrant backgrounds.
With my colleague Dr. Stephanie Pinder-Amaker, I Co-Founded the McLean Hospital Multicultural Psychology Consultation Team, a systems capacity-building model for culturally-responsive interventions. With my colleagues at MPCT we developed many of the resources on www.multiculturalpsychology.com a website of free resources for those interested in culturally-responsive, evidence-informed interventions.
I am also involved in the teaching and training of psychiatry and psychology trainees at Harvard Medical School, Boston Children’s Hospital, and McLean Hospital.
